CPI Is Named A Crain’s Detroit Cool Place To Work

What makes a business cool? Is it the work perks, benefits or the office environment? We asked our Michigan-based team members to participate in Crain’s Detroit Cool Places to Work survey earlier this spring, which asked a variety of questions about our benefits, culture and workplace.  A third-party firm assessed the ratings and comments, compared that data against all applicants, and then determined the top 100 cool companies.

We are pleased to share that for the fourth year in a row, CPI has been named one of Crain’s Cool Places to Work; placing overall No. 15 out of 100.  “The CPI team is proud to be counted among those elite companies, which have received the esteemed Crain’s Detroit Cool Places to Work designation. We will continue to develop and implement programs, which will make us worthy of such as honor,” said Steve York, CEO, CPI.  To review all of the Crain’s Detroit Cool Places to Work 2019 companies, click here.

This Crain’s Detroit Cool Places to Work statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Michigan, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses. Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Cool Places to Work in Michigan. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.

Congratulations to every company that made the Crain’s Detroit Cool Places to Work list. Bravo!
