Contract Professionals, Inc. (CPI) employee, Todd Galloway, a Total Value Management Analyst and subject matter expert (SME) was recently honored for his work in data analysis and corporate leadership. Working for CPI’s largest automotive client, Galloway has a reputation of always going above and beyond for his fellow coworkers.

“Todd’s significant efforts to provide data analysis in a courteous and professional manner was certainly appreciated by everyone involved.  We continue to value his work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to help anyone, at any time,” said the automotive supplier.

Not your average “number cruncher,” Todd Galloway is a bonafide rocket scientist. A rare breed, Todd is part of an elite category of scientists/engineers, with only 192,500 rocket scientists in the United States of America. You may know the type. The kind of person who always looks up in the night sky and sees nothing but possibility.

Todd jokingly explained his reasoning for choosing such an esteemed and intellectually challenging field by saying, “if nothing else, for the rest of my life, I would know for sure if something was or was not rocket science!”

A winding road, Todd’s journey has been an interesting one.  A proficient brass player since the age of 10, Todd has also acted as a professional classically trained singer. He started singing when he was just 18 years old and he’s had a passion for his craft ever since. “I’ve played and sung at a professional level for many years. I studied with a professional voice teacher for 14 years and my voice training was completed a few years ago,” said Galloway.

Todd reflects back on his journey and acknowledges that his enthusiasm for both music and engineering was pivotal in how his life turned out. With a degree in aerospace engineering (graduating Summa Cum Laude) and significant involvement in vocal/music groups while at the University of Michigan, he has successfully turned his passion(s) into rewarding careers.

Today, Todd is engineer by day and a musician by night. During the day, his job challenges him with financial data analysis and communications. By night, he sings and plays brass in a professional church music program and enjoys music making and developing opportunities to share his music with others.

Todd credits his most recent career opportunity to the automotive team at CPI.  “I was pleasantly surprised by CPI’s dedication to my search. The team suggested several possible positions and shepherded me through the approval process”, said Galloway. “We had productive discussions about my career goals, and they worked diligently to match my desires and goals with available opportunities.”

Having worked with other staffing agencies in the past, Galloway knows a thing or two about what it means to be treated like a valued employee. “I’ve worked with a few contract houses and I was disappointed when they did little for me besides collect their portion for my work at the customer,” said Galloway. “CPI has gone out of the way to provide benefits and other perks, which they are certainly not required to do. I definitely feel CPI values their contract employees more than other agencies I’ve worked with.”

The CPI Automotive Team considers working with Todd to be an absolute privilege. “It’s been our pleasure to work with and support someone of Todd’s caliber,” said Jay Vorobel, Executive Vice President. “Todd has been an exemplary employee. We consider ourselves very lucky that he made the decision to work with our team. There are many other staffing companies, which he could have chosen, and we do not take that fact for granted.”
