Contract Professionals, Inc.  Receives National Veterans Business Council Veteran Certification

Waterford, Michigan – August 26, 2015 - A veteran owned global staffing company, Contract Professionals, Inc. (CPI) was recently certified as veteran owned from the National Veterans Business Council (NVBDC).

The NVBDC ensures that valid documentation exists of a business’ veteran ownership and control.  With this certification CPI will be well positioned to take advantage of many lucrative and productive business opportunities, which are available through supplier veteran programs.

These programs are created by companies and government agencies to help support our nation’s veterans. In fact, the total spend available to qualifying businesses is estimated to be in excess of $80 million annually.

According to CPI’s President, Jim Cowper, the NVDBC certification paves the way for CPI to develop a growth strategy based on CPI’s veteran status.

“The NVBDC certification is pivotal to CPI’s growth because it gives the company the credentials it needs to partner with veteran suppliers from a cross section of industries, as well as with the government,” said Keith King, President, NVBDC. “We are honored to have Mr. Cowper on our advisory committee, and we look forward to his continued contributions.”

The Founder and CEO of CPI, Steve York was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1976. York is the majority stakeholder in CPI and he is responsible for spearheading all efforts to formally verify CPI as veteran owned.
