Command Sergeant Major (Retired) Richard Ross Joins Forces with Leading Veteran Owned Contract Professionals, Inc. (CPI) 


Waterford, MI - March 11, 2015 -  Contract Professionals, Inc. (CPI)  recently engaged retired Command Sergeant Major US Army, 111 Corps & FT Hood Richard Ross as the Director of Business Development.

As the Director of Business Development for CPI, Ross will seek to develop relationships with companies, including DOD suppliers, in order to assist them with their staffing needs.   “The focus will be on helping companies meet their project goals, by integrating veterans into the work force,” said Ross.


“I have worked with Rich since his retirement from the military.   We have worked together to support several nationwide military vehicle programs.  He is an advocate of assisting fellow veteran’s as they transition into the civilian workforce.   His expertise is a perfect match for our organization,” said Jay Vorobel, Vice President, CPI.


Ross is uniquely qualified to understand the staffing requirements of DOD suppliers because he has more than 40 years of progressive experience in the military as a leader, personnel supervisor and business manager.   During his career, Ross worked on major projects establishing large teams of veterans to perform services on various military vehicles throughout the United States.   As such, he brings excellent analytical and problem solving skills to the table, as well as the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.   As a civilian, Ross has been directly involved in executing human resources programs.  “I have had the privilege of working with CPI as a consumer of their services, while in the civilian workforce.  I engaged CPI to support several military vehicle programs nation wide,” said Ross.  “CPI is a company with strong ethical values.  They are client and service oriented, and they have a high standard of quality and a commitment to excellence.”
