For more than 37 years, Contract Professionals, Inc. (CPI) has been focused on working with defense suppliers, which strive to be champions of success and innovation.
The CPI team partners with only those defense suppliers that provide innovative, progressive and well paying job opportunities for both civilians and veterans. In this way, CPI is able to create an environment where our employees can achieve and be rewarded for their hard work, ingenuity and advanced skills.
Recently, the Army presented a prestigious award to one of CPI’s largest defense clients. The honorees were comprised of 26 DOD supplier employees and several contract employees, including 17 that worked for CPI, in service to the DOD supplier.
This DOD supplier plays a significant role in the production of our nation’s military equipment, leading the way in new and cutting edge technologies for defense, security and aerospace verticals.
A certified service disabled veteran owned work force solutions company; CPI has been providing the international DOD supplier with staffing support with a focus on military veteran recruitment since November 2016.
“It’s been a privilege to support this DOD supplier. We are humbled to be a part of such a prestigious honor, and we look forward to supporting this defense client for many years to come,” said James L. Cowper, President, CPI.
The Army made special note of the efforts of the personnel who participated in this program. In particular, the Army acknowledged that the entire DOD suppliers team acted with precision and professionalism, as they coordinated efforts between the various groups, while simultaneously supporting multiple military platforms.
The award is given out to those whose outstanding contributions and achievements merit special recognition. It also provides an opportunity to showcase their professionalism. The goal of the award is to highlight not only the best people and their individual accomplishments, but also to highlight how the recipients have helped their organization and the community at large.
