MichBusiness (formerly Michigan Business and Professional Association) has once again recognized Contract Professionals, Inc. (CPI) as one of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® in Metro Detroit. This is CPI’s fifth win.
The competition identifies and honors organizations that display a commitment to excellence in their human resource practices and employee enrichment. Organizations are assessed based on categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention, and more.
“We are proud to be recognized for our employee engagement initiatives for five consecutive years,” said CPI President, James L. Cowper. “When CPI’s CEO, Steve York launched the company in 1982, he focused on creating an innovative, empowering and inclusive work environment for all of his team members.” Cowper continued, “Today, we believe that our culture and people are a reflection of Steve’s desire to grow his company, by honoring the civilians and military veterans that work along side him everyday.”
The winning companies also compete for 13 elite awards, one granted for each category. Also, an overall winner that has excelled in all categories will be honored with a “Best of the Best Overall” award. The elite award winners will be revealed throughout this year’s breakfast program to be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the The Henry Autograph Collection in Dearborn, Michigan at 8:00am.
“We are honored to recognize the efforts of this year’s ‘Best and Brightest’ companies. These companies have created impressive organizational value and business results through their policies and best practices in human resource management. This award has become a designation sought after by hundreds of Metro Detroit companies and is a powerful recruitment tool in the drive to attract and retain exceptional employees,” said Jennifer Kluge, President and CEO, Best and Brightest Programs.”
